FOREST HILL
Forest Hill is situated on a hill above the A40 trunk road and the traffic noise from the A40 below is sometimes very evident. Much of the village consists of 20th century housing but in the centre of the village, and along Main Street especially, there are still some older properties
The little village church, at the edge of the village, is the Church of St. Nicholas the Confessor. Originally a Norman building, it was largely rebuilt in the 13th century and there have been further alterations since. Forest Hill is about a mile and a half north-west of Wheatley on the B4027, a few miles east of Oxford.
